The Donegal Bay Waterbus has been bringing passengers on sight-seeing tours from Donegal Town since 2006. Cruise around Donegal Bay in a state of the art 160 seater Waterbus. View the seal colony on Seal Island, The Bluestack Mountains and Donegal Bays many islands with full commentary. Relax in our fully stocked bar and enjoy our cabaret show on the return leg of the trip.
Crew members give an informative and entertaining commentary on the local history and the sights of special interest in the bay on the outward journey with a sing-a-long music on the return voyage. Sailing times are usually morning, afternoon or evening and are dependant upon weather and the tides.

The Donegal Bay Waterbus itself is a purpose built vessel with a shallow draft which was built especially for the Donegal estuary. It has all modern amenities including ladies, gents and disabled toilets, cushioned seating, fully stocked bar, seated upper deck viewing area, all modern safety equipment and even a small dance floor. Forget about seasickness, passengers are assured a comfortable trip and this combined with a crew with many years experience ensures all guests have a safe and very enjoyable trip.
The Donegal Bay Waterbus trip lasts for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes a full commentary on the historical, natural and geographical sights view from the vessel.
