Wile Craic Comedy Festival Announce Return to Buncrana and Muff

After a sold out first year in 2025, ‘Wile Craic’ Comedy Festival in association with The Muff Liquor Company returns to Buncrana and Muff, Co. Donegal for another weekend full of hilarious stand-up from some of the finest comedians from Ireland.
 
With headline shows being held in the intimate setting of Buncrana Cinema, alongside the Muff Liquor Company brand home, O’Flaherty’s Bar and Tank & Skinny’s Seaside, the festival has released the first wave of incredible comedians coming to Inishowen, including Colin Murphy (The Blame Game, The Panel), Emma Doran (Last One Laughing Ireland), Andrew Maxwell (The Panel, Mock The Week), Chris Kent and Andrew Ryan, among many others.

Rory Kelly, Founder of MRK Live said: “From the minute we finished the last show of last year’s festival, we immediately started thinking about the next edition, and we are over the moon to be able to return this May. Seeing how well the shows were supported in 2025 encouraged us to look ahead with confidence, knowing that there is a real appetite for comedy in Buncrana, Inishowen and the North-West in general. This year’s lineup will see acts that are selling out theatres and arenas set to visit the town, with highlights including Colin Murphy, Emma Doran and Andrew Maxwell, so far.
“The comedy scene in Ireland is so connected that if you can build something that’s new and interesting, and well supported, that word will get ‘round. We want to make ‘Wile Craic’ a staple in people’s calendars, and we’re so thankful to everyone that has supported it to date. A special thank you must go to our partner, The Muff Liquor Company, for being at our side all year in building the ‘Wile Craic’ brand through our regular comedy club in the brand’s home in Muff.
