From daily commuters, business owners and students to Rescue 118, international jet setters and patients availing of essential medical treatment, the airport provides a vital service, connecting its users with the outside world.
This intimate and revealing 4 part documentary series gives viewers a unique insight into the running of a small regional airport, told through the intimate stories of the passengers flying in and out and the airport staff responsible for their safety and keeping this vital airport alive.
We’ll join a variety of local passengers leaving the county and characters from all over the world flying into the Airport.
The 4 part documentary series on Donegal Airport will air nationally on the Scottish BBC Alba and be available on BBC iPlayer afterwards for 30 days.
