The music begins with Tom Ziegenspeck & Leonie Lindenberg, Steve Voltz & Dan Riley and Doc Taylor & The Red Haired Girl performing from Rudolstadt.
We then switch over to Letterkenny and traditional music from Martin McGinley, Ted Ponsonby & Noel Lenaghan, before the concert is brought to a close with an acoustic set by Declan McClafferty & Ruairí Friel from In Their Thousands.
Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh, who played an integral part in the twinning of the two towns during his time as Cathaoirleach of Letterkenny Municipal District said it has been a great success.
“The twinning of Letterkenny and Rudolstadt is now a hugely successful partnership, with working connections established across many areas, including education, culture and the arts."
We are delighted to feature two proud West Donegal Islanders in our curated initiatives this week- Cathal McGinley of Inis Bó Finne takes over the RCC Curated Content page on Instragam for the next week,
while Jerry Early from Arranmore curate today's RCC SOUNDS community mixtape
