The new Discover Bundoran Tourism Brochure for 2026 was officially launched recently at Bundoran Community Centre, bringing together local businesses, tourism partners, community groups and stakeholders to celebrate the town’s latest tourism publication.
The 44-page brochure provides a comprehensive guide for visitors and locals alike, showcasing Bundoran’s accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, activities, events and experiences, while also highlighting the wider region and everything the north-west has to offer.

Taralouise McCaughey hosted the event for Discover Bundoran.
Speaking at the launch, Discover Bundoran Operations Manager Taralouise McCaughey said that while visitor expectations continue to evolve, Bundoran has successfully adapted while retaining the warmth and welcome that has attracted generations of visitors. “Bundoran continues to evolve with changing visitor trends while staying true to the unique character that makes it such a special place. The brochure showcases not only our businesses and attractions but also the people, creativity and community spirit that make Bundoran what it is.”
John O’Connell, Chairperson of Discover Bundoran, welcomed the launch and highlighted the importance of continued collaboration across the tourism sector. "The publication reflects the quality and variety of tourism offerings throughout Bundoran."
Attending on behalf of Donegal County Council, Tourism Manager Joy Browne said “it’s very encouraging to see the level of collaboration here in Bundoran between the businesses and attractions. Bundoran is a premier tourism destination in the county and a key economic driver for Donegal. I want to commend you on an excellent brochure for 2026 and wish everyone the best for the season ahead.”

The evening also highlighted several key tourism successes so far in 2026, including national television exposure through TG4’s coverage of Féile na mBan in February and BBC travel programming featuring Bundoran and local craftsman Rossa Byrne. Attendees were also updated on major events and attractions planned for the months ahead, including Rougey Riddim & Surf Invitational, the Bay Swim, Emergency Services Open Day, Dune Run, Beach & Beats and Saltwater Festival.
A particular highlight will be the EuroSurf Junior European Surfing Championships, which will take place in Bundoran from September 24th to October 4th and is expected to welcome competitors and officials from 20 European nations.
The launch also provided an opportunity to introduce Discover Bundoran’s new “Stay & Sustain” campaign, encouraging visitors to stay longer, explore responsibly and support local businesses throughout the summer season.
Special thanks were extended to AIB Ballyshannon for sponsoring the brochure and to Michelle Duffy, whose striking image of Bundoran Fairy Bridges features on the front cover.
