DONEGAL CAMINO
The annual Donegal Camino kicked off earlier this week and will run until 9th September. From Inishowen to Sliabh Liag, this unique seven day walk and hike takes walkers on a myriad of stunning loop walks, coastal trails on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way Coastline. DUKE SPECIAL AT THE MUSIC LOOM

OAKFEST
Donegal’s biggest family-friendly music festival Oakfest takes place in Oakfield Park on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September. Top music acts include Suzi Quatro, Boyzlife, The Bay City Rollers, Onóir, The Davy K Project and Lisa McHugh. LOVE DONEGAL DAY
Co-ordinated by Donegal County Council’s Economic Development team, #LoveDonegal day is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with Donegal and shout about our wonderful county! Get behind the campaign on Thursday 14th September by visiting or travelling to Donegal, sharing your favourite images on social or simply reconnect! On Wednesday 6th September, the Abbey Theatre in Ballyshannon will show Tár. Composer and conductor Lydia Tár (Cate Blanchett) is a classical music superstar. Her acclaimed run as chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic is about to reach its crescendo with a performance of Mahler’s Fifth Symphony. Tár also has a history of abusing her power. As investigations into Tár’s past behaviour begin, her professional and personal lives start spiralling out of control. Find out more

BLUESURFEST
BLUESURFEST is a three-day festival combining inclusive sporting events, music, film and educational events as part of a wider network of European Blue Surf Festivals happening across Europe in 2023. Running from 22nd – 24th September, the events, targeted to raise awareness of inclusion in sport at local and regional levels, will highlight the benefits of surfing for physical and mental health and wellbeing. Guest speakers will include Maria Walsh MEP, Dr. Easkey Britton & Dr. Jamie Marshall, Blue Space Researchers, The Liquid Therapy Panel of Experts with Dr. Karl Thomas from Creatovation and Mark Pollock, Explorer, Founder and Performance Coach. SHARON SHANNON LIVE AT JOHNNY DOHERTY FESTIVAL
Get ready for an electrifying night of Irish traditional music as the iconic Sharon Shannon takes the stage at the Johnny Doherty Festival in Ardara, Co. Donegal. THE MURDER EXPRESS
