Buncrana Music Festival 2020

Buncrana Shore Front

Find out more

26th - 27th June 2020, Buncrana

Following the first year, with a new lease of life, and a new location at Buncrana’s Shore Front, 2018 saw Welsh rock band Feeder, and Grammy Award winning DJ Roger Sanchez along with Ministry of Sound DJs enthral the crowds as the sun baked down. Roger Sanchez commented that the location was more like Ibiza, as boats and yacht watched from a distance off-shore, while the music could be heard for miles around.

The festival grew significantly in 2019, with top Irish acts including Hudson Taylor, Delorentos, the Hothouse Flowers, the Blizzards, Natty Wailer, Key West, Lavengro, Dont Fear The Natives and String Empire, followed by stunning fireworks displays each night attracted even greater numbers to the event.

Following a very safe first concert in 2018, under 16’s to the event were granted admission to the 2019 event, accompanied by a responsible adult, making the event very attractive for families while camping & clamping facilities on-site made the event extra-special.

The line-up for this year’s event for 2020 is underway and will be announced in February, the 2020 event is without doubt the best value for money festival in Ireland.

We’re proud of our ambition to become one of the safest, entertaining and fun summer festivals in Ireland, and we have a safety record to prove it too.
