Darren Doherty is an alternative singer songwriter and producer from Strabane, Co Tyrone, N. Ireland. A solo performer since 2017 he's released a full length debut album 'What You Do', 2 live albums(Live at the ghost light sessions / Live at Dicey's) and the acclaimed 2023 EP 'The Life & Times of Me'.
Having shared the stage with Paul Brady, the late Bap Kennedy, The 4 of Us, Fight Like Apes and many other hardened road warriors of the Irish music scene over the past 2 decades Doherty has honed his craft and is a force in both studio and on stage. Latest single 'London Bridge' made American airwaves as song of the week on Sirius XM further enhancing Darren's international reputation, previous single 'The Raging Song' hit even greater heights as part of British Airways Next Big Thing show in 2022.
Doherty is bringing his new one man show 'The Life & Times of Me' to The Old Courthouse. Raw, unfiltered, skeletal and at times anthemic, uplifting and powerful its a night not to be missed.
