23rd - 24th September 2022, Ramelton

The Djanjo-sur-Lennon is the only music festival on the island of Ireland celebrating the musical style of guitarist Django Reinhardt. This is an international jazz festival featuring world class musicians from abroad, which takes place in Ramelton on an annual basis starting in 2016. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions it has not been possible to hold the festival in 2020 or in 2021.

Provided Covid restrictions allow we intend holding the festival in September 2022. Festival dates are subject to confirmation.

Concerts & workshops featuring renowned musicians are held in the Town Hall as well as performances in local venues. Local businesses reported a significant increased revenue due to the festival & welcome the return of the festival post Covid 19 restrictions.

Attendee feedback indicates a high level of return for the festival including a group from Seattle and visitors especially from the European mainland where this form of music is very established.

Our continuing vision is to continue to develop the festival as a major international event. Already top names in the world are happy to come to perform in the festival and its reputation is spreading throughout Europe and the USA as a venue to come to see and hear the best names in this genre of music and to meet and learn from them in the friendly atmosphere of Ramelton and Donegal.
