08 - 10 May 2020, Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh
The 7th Summer School will be held over the weekend of Friday 8th May until Sunday 10th May in the Uí Cléirigh (Friary) Hall and the Sandhouse Hotel, both in Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal. The theme of the Summer School is “Women in 17th Century Ireland”. The Summer School explores aspects of this fascinating topic when life in Ireland was very raw. Later this year we will publish a book with transcripts of all the talks along with images and content on every event of the weekend. It is a tradition at MÓC from our very first gathering, that we involve the young people of the district through an art exhibition of their own creation that will be displayed at the summer school. The Summer School is a co-operative event between the Local community, Mícheál Uí Cléirigh Institute, UCD and the Franciscan Community in Rossnowlagh.
