A word from Owner & Manager, Sonia McGonigle
My husband, Martin purchased the house from Ms Russo in 2005 and carried out a full refurbishment of the original house and added a 7 bedroom extension and of course the conservatory which now houses our very popular Rose Tearoom.
Over the last few years we have gradually added new additions to The Glen House including a decked area which sits beside the river which runs down along side the house from The Glenevin Waterfall and a little thatched roofed sweet shop which has been the subject of many a photo. At The Glen House I now have had the pleasure of welcoming people from all over the world stay with me while they visit the area. I hope they feel that they have experienced the best of Irish hospitality when they leave us and that The Glen House proved to be a relaxing and comfortable place to spend there days away from lifes usual stresses and strains.
Myself and my staff hope we have the pleasure of meeting new and old faces alike over the coming months, whether you are staying or just calling in for a cup of tea after your walk to the waterfall.
Hope to see you soon,
Sonia
