The Allingham Arms Hotel, named after a local 19th Century Poet, William Allingham is situated on the beautiful coast of Bundoran, Co. Donegal.
The hotel offers guest the unique experience on the superb seaside resort. The first of the Allingham family to live here was Florinda Allingham, who named the property Allingham Lodge in the 1840’s. Florinda Allingham lived here in Allingham Lodge and was a close relative of William Allingham the Poet. Her father Edward Allingham lived at Magheracar but both Florinda and her father originally lived at a country house called Stonewold beside the Kathleen’s Falls Hydro Electric Station in Ballyshannon.
The Allingham Arms hotel boasts two well equipped bars serving an extensive bar food menu, a high quality restaurant, serving delicious food and nightly entertainment from local and national entertainers.
