Now in its third year, Over the West Fest Arranmore is a two-day, family-friendly independent music festival taking place on 22nd and 23rd August 2026 at The Dock, Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal.
Presented by the Over the West Creative Collective, the festival showcases an exciting mix of established and emerging artists from across Ireland, celebrating original Irish music in one of the country’s most spectacular island settings. Bringing artists together on one stage, the festival provides a platform for emerging talent while highlighting the depth and diversity of Ireland’s independent music scene.
Across two days, festival-goers can enjoy an eclectic programme of live performances spanning folk, indie, rock, rap, funk, Americana, traditional and singer-songwriter music. Set against the stunning coastal backdrop of The Dock, the festival offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where audiences can discover new music, support independent artists and experience the unique spirit of Arranmore Island.
As the outdoor performances conclude on Saturday evening, the celebrations continue in Early’s Backroom, where an intimate late-night programme of live music keeps the festival atmosphere alive well into the night.
