Find out more

Dunmore Gardens is a beautiful secretive walled garden, which lies just outside the pretty village of Carrigans on the western banks of Lough Foyle in Co. Donegal. The McFarland family have lived at Dunmore for four generations and have opened their doors to many weddings, celebrations and garden parties. They are always open to new visitors looking for an occasion or simply to relax in the sanctuary of the walled garden.

Dunmore dates back further than the Georgian house and beautiful walled garden that was built in 1742. The house was built on the remains of an old fort, which they believe dates back to the 14th century. You can still find remains of this forgotten fort wandering through the woodlands of Dunmore. So come make your own history in a place that has seen so much, be a part of it and enjoy.
