Despite the best efforts of everyone concerned, we have had to postpone our reopening for another week until Tuesday, 20th July. This is in keeping with continuous Government Guidelines and Regulations governing public amenities. Due to the fluid situation pertaining to Covid 19, further changes may be required.
RAILWAY TIMETABLE AND BOOKING INFORMATION
Fintown Railway scenic train service will resume on Tuesday, 20th July. We will be open from Tuesday to Friday & on Sundays (closed on Mondays & Saturdays).
Due to Covid restrictions, we will be operating at 50% capacity and booking in advance is essential. We will be taking bookings by PHONE only: +353(0)74 9546280.
Bookings will open on Thursday, 15th July between 10am – 12pm and every Monday to Friday thereafter from 10am-12pm.
Tues – Fri: 10:30am / 11:45am / 1:15pm / 2:30pm / 3:45pm last train
Sundays: 12:45pm / 2:00pm / 3:15pm / 4:30pm
€8 per adult / €5 per child. Family rates available.
Please note that we can only accept cash at present. The nearest ATM is located in Glenties.
GUIDELINES FOR TRAIN USERS:
☑️ Visitors are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior train departure time.
☑️ It is really important that we depart on schedule to allow the time to sanitise the carriage after each trip.
☑️ Visitors are required to wear masks when going on the train.
☑️ Note that windows must remain open during the train journey to ensure proper ventilation.
