Fintown Railway is he only operational section of the former County Donegal Railway network. Join us for a trip along the scenic shores of Lough Finn this summer! 🚂
RAILWAY TIMETABLE AND BOOKING INFORMATION
Opening Times: June - September
July/August Schedule - open 5 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The trip takes approx. 40-45min.
🚂 Train times weekdays:
11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm, 3pm
🚂 Sundays and Bank Holidays:
12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

GUIDELINES FOR TRAIN USERS:
☑️ Visitors are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior train departure time.
☑️ It is really important that we depart on schedule to allow the time to sanitise the carriage after each trip.
☑️ Note that windows must remain open during the train journey to ensure proper ventilation.

The Fintown Railway is a narrow gauge railway. Set amidst spectacular highland scenery overlooking Lough Finn, the railway (3m/5km) is a restored section of the former County Donegal Railway.
There is a playground for our youngest visitors and also a few picnic benches.
