Karen O’Kane of Kokodesigns is a textile artist working with hand painted silk, in her studio in Ramelton Co Donegal. The paintings are transformed into homeware her speciality is designing. painting and making lighting pieces. Her colourful work is inspired by her local landscape, her love of the Art deco period and her travels. You can visit her studio where she has selected work available to purchase or you can commission a bespoke piece. She also teaches silk painting workshops in her studio from absolute beginners to advanced courses.
