Greencastle Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole links course nestled in the idyllic surroundings of the Inishowen Peninsula. It is a members-owned course on the banks of Lough Foyle, offering superb views across the water. Based in the north of the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, the club was founded in 1892 as a nine-hole course and, during its centenary year, opened a further nine very challenging holes.
The course is 5293 metres in length, par 69, with a Standard Scratch Score (S.S.S.) of 68 from the competition tees. The ladies' course measures 4675 metres, par 69, with a S.S.S. of 70. There are six par-three holes, and a stream/drain comes into play on three holes.
