One Day Retreats (May, late August & September)

The pilgrimage season recommences at the beginning of May each year. In 2018 the Island will reopen for One Day Retreats on Saturday 5th May.

Please check the dates One Day Retreats are available here. They typically run on weekends and on a number of week days.

Boats are available from 9:15am. The crossing is less than 10 minutes from the lakeshore. Boats return from 4.00pm.

The Lough Derg office is open Monday – Sunday during the One Day Retreat Season from 9.00am – 5.00pm (9.00am – 4.30pm Sat & Sun). Contact +353 (0) 71 9861518

THREE DAY PILGRIMAGE

Three Day Pilgrimage Season commences on 1st June. One can begin their pilgrimage on any day from 1stJune until 13th August. Boats are available from 10.30am. Typically pilgrims arrive around mid-day on day one of their pilgrimage and depart at 10.00am on the third day.
