The Front Bar is renowned as one of Ireland’s most popular pubs, and more importantly, one with a distinct Irish feel. The open fire, the live musicians, the range of Irish craft beers, a collection of authentic vintage signs and fittings – The Front Bar is the mainstay of the Hotel for over 30 years. With vintage timber reclaimed from old Derry dock pilings gracing the room, and an open fireplace providing a warm, cosy feel, The Front Bar is hugely popular among locals and tourists for its homely atmosphere, welcoming faces and traditional music sessions. Regular sessions take place where groups of Irish and international musicians gather around the fire exchanging tunes and songs into the night.

You will find a menu derived from the area’s own natural offering, with a range of popular seafood options – direct from Greencastle, Irish beef & lamb, plus vegetarian and traditional Irish dishes.
