Virtual St Catherine's Medieval Church and Graveyard Website

Donegal County Museum in partnership with Ulster University’s School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems and the Killybegs History and Heritage Society is delighted to announce the launch, as part of Heritage Week 2020, our Virtual St Catherine’s online digital museum exhibition promoting the history and heritage of St Catherine’s 15th Century church and graveyard in Killybegs, Co Donegal.


A day trip in Donegal on the Wild Atlantic Way

Using Bundoran as a base, much of the North West leg of the Wild Atlantic Way is at your disposal for a day trip – even to the most northerly of parts. Our colleague Shane and his friend took a day trip from Bundoran to Fanad Head, one of the 15 Signature Discovery Points on the Wild Atlantic Way and one of 3 in County Donegal.

The Trail Gazers Project has launched its brand new website allowing users to navigate their way along eight pilot trails across Europe from the touch of a button. 


Exciting new project capturing the lost stories, folklore & history of Inch Levels

A new App entitled  ‘Lost Stories and Folklore of the Trail’ will provide the stories behind any build, cultural and natural assets that the visitor encounters around the reserve and in the broader catchment area.
