Councils join forces to celebrate the 'Best of the North West'

The Best of the North West will be showcased widely over the coming weeks as part of an exciting new collaborative tourism campaign launched today by Donegal County Council and Derry City and Strabane District Council, working in partnership with Visit Derry & Donegal Tourism CLG.


Registration Open for Donegal Tourism Conference

Donegal County Council in association with Donegal Tourism CLG are pleased to invite tourism businesses and interests in Donegal to register their attendance for this year’s Donegal Tourism Conference, 'Adapting to Changing Times' which will take place on 30 March 2022. The venue will be Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey.  


New and updated viewing points along Mulroy Drive launched

Fáilte Ireland unveiled new viewing points along Mulroy Drive - a looped route off the Wild Atlantic Way designed to encourage visitors to explore further and stay longer in the region.
 

Emerald Airlines launches flights on Donegal route

Emerald Airlines, Ireland's newest airline, and exclusive operator of the Aer Lingus Regional network, began its scheduled services from Donegal to Dublin on Friday 26th February 2022.


Donegal Railway Heritage Trail Guide launched

The Donegal Railway Heritage Centre have recently launched a map of the entire county, showing some of the main Donegal railway heritage still to be seen across the County (and across the border).
